XX Never Give Up XX
16x20 Foot Outdoor Mural
Location: San Francisco, California
This mural was created for the "Summer of Love" 50 year anniversary (1967-2017) and 40 year anniversary of the "Haight Street Fair" in San Francisco on June 10th-11th 2017. The location of the mural is on the corner of Haight and Ashbury at the former residence of Jimi Hendrix at 1524 Haight Street. The Victorian building is called "The Red House" after one of his famed songs. This location is a major historical tourist stop and a heavily visited landmark for the City of San Francisco.
On June 11, 2017, this mural was painted live during the Haight Street Fair, which is one of the biggest annual festivals in San Francisco. Record numbers came out to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of this event, and watched the creation of the mural in real time. This is also the first mural ever to be painted live during the Haight Street Fair.

This section of the wall with the blue "W24" was opened up to pay tribute to Daniel Osterhoff (DJ Whores), who passed away unexpectedly in April of 2017. He was a tremendous part of the art ad music scene in Sacramento for many years. This beautiful addition to the Red Dragon Mural west wall was created by local artist and long time friend of Daniel's, Jenn Ponci.
